Musiliu Akisanya, the chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, also known as MC Oluomo, is overjoyed at the election of his Godfather, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as President-Elect.
MC Oluomo came to Instagram to express his delight at the election results, claiming that a 60-year curse has been broken with Tinubu’s election as president-elect.
“CONGRATULATIONS TO HIS EXCELLENCE ASIWAJU BOLA HAMED TINUBU, THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA,” he wrote. ALHAMDULILLAH OSE OLOHUN, A 60-YEAR JINX HAS JUST BEEN BROKEN.”
Tinubu defeated his closest rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), by over a million votes.
Abubakar received 6, 984, 520 votes, while Labour Party candidate Peter Obi received 6,111, 533 votes.
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPPRabiu )’s Kwankwaso received 1,496, 687 votes.
Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC Chairman who delivered the election results, stated that the total number of registered voters was 93, 469, 008, while the number of accredited voters was 25, 486, 616.
