In a video posted on Instagram hours ago, Maureen Okpoko appealed to Nigerians for financial aid.
Hello, my name is Maureen Okpoko. I am a Nollywood actor who has abruptly lost his vision. That indicates I can no longer see or I am temporarily blind.
“I’m requesting your financial support. It would be extremely appreciated if you could all lend me a hand. I also require your prayers and words of support.
“My road has not been easy, but I am grateful to God for the gift of life. “Thank you, thank you everybody,” said Maureen.
