Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall musician, has revealed that no other artist in Ghana can fill the Accra Sports Stadium for a live concert or show performance.
A recent video of Shatta Wale has gone viral just hours after Nigerian music star, Wizkid, had a disastrous show at the Accra Sports Stadium, leading to a total failure in his attempt to successfully organize his highly anticipated concert.
According to several reports, Wizkid may have opted out of the ‘Wizkid Live Concert’ due to low ticket sales. Regardless, the Nigerian performer has denied the reports, explaining why he was unable to appear in person at the stadium.
Amidst the uproar, a video post by Shatta Wale resurfaced in which he stated that no artist in Ghana can fill the Accra Sports Stadium, implying that Wizkid may have filled the booked venue.
“Unless it’s a political rally, unless it’s not NPP or NDC or maybe Pastor Mensah Otabil or Pastor Chris, I am telling you people something, write it down, or Duncan Williams, or Bishop Agyin Asare, or maybe it’s Kotoko and Hearts, we have never had a show like that at the stadium where you can see that the place is filled up for one artiste,” the Dancehall artiste stated emphatically.
