Sokoto now has a new NYSC State Coordinator.

Alhaji Usman Yakubu-Yaro has been chosen as the new National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) State Coordinator in Sokoto State.

This was said in a statement made on Tuesday in Sokoto by Malam Sani Idris, the state’s public relations representative.

Idris said Yakubu-Yaro succeeded Alhaji Muhammadu Nakamba, who retired after serving the appropriate number of years.

Nakamba thanked employees and corps members for their cooperation and support throughout his term.

He assured his successor that his term had been beneficial due of the positive relationships he had with the personnel.

Yakubu-Yaro committed in a statement to maintain an open door policy in order to provide employees the opportunity to contribute positively to the scheme’s success.

He guaranteed that the welfare and security of both corps members and staff would be prioritized. (NAN)
