‘This one does not have a parent, and they will say Our Future Leaders’ – Reactions To Trail Video Of Secondary School Girls Drinking Alcohol To Stupor
In a video that has gone viral on social media, a group of secondary school students can be seen drinking recklessly.
Senior high school girls from Ghana entered a bar wearing their uniforms and ordered a variety of alcoholic beverages, most notably beers.
They were observed talking, joking, and drinking during school hours, which enraged some online.
Many netizens wondered what the younger generation is learning and where society is turning as social vices among minors increase.
Thank goodness there were no cell phones or social media when some of us went to school.
richie xx_; This free shs thing isn’t an issue. I doubt they’d do it if they were paying school fees.
mrjune official; Aahhh, are these the future leaders or some other batch dey somewhere…. cos eeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
daceboateng; Masa Everyone had a bad time in high school. Because we live in the social media age, ooo Why do you not want the youth to enjoy themselves now that you are old?
obaaydufie; At this point in their lives, Smirnoff Ice, Shandy, and Savannah… When they score 35 or higher, their parents will be yelling and yelling at the school.
sandygabbygaisie; Who even sold them the drinks? Shouldn’t you be 18 to purchase alcoholic beverages?
nhanha ama dhymond_; Then I’ll see my sister or daughter inside, and oh my god, you’ll come home to meet me. Lord, have mercy on this generation.
emmanigh; Why am I saying this? Because, as I always preach, these people have finally succeeded in destroying the future of Ghana’s youth. When a child is not disciplined or punished, he or she goes down the wrong path, as evidenced by the lack of discipline in our senior high schools.
Students believe they are equal to their teachers, that punishing them is against the law of the country, and that we are free to do whatever we want, but my brother, even in white land, students are punished when they do wrong and are counseled to learn what is right and wrong; who is counseling you here? Is it me or your parents? It’s heartbreaking, and I must confess that I am concerned about the direction our country is taking.
