Toyin Abraham has received a lot of flak for officially declaring Bola Tinubu as her presidential preference. Toyin has received numerous insults since then, but most recently, she had to respond to an Adetutu Balogun, an aunt of hers, who commented on a tweet she had made. To this, Toyin Abraham replied:
TOYIN ABRAHAM: Aunty tutu, if truly Eti OBA ni le Eti OBA loko, you should know this is not pro, I am contented with the little I have but truthfully I let my choice be known because the bully is many and no one can bully me, so I decided to let my choice be known.
Aunty Adetutu responded, saying:
ADETUTU BALOGUN: If you’re not an expert, leave it to the professionals! Don’t use your voice and space to push bad legislation! Some people in nollywood support BAT, but they are quiet about it. The people are not asking for much; they simply want a better future for themselves and their children!
To which Toyin Abraham responded:
TOYIN ABRAHAM: No aunty tutu, it’s my handle and I have the right to post anything, and yes, a lot of people are vocal, but they’re on Instagram. I only posted once, and yes, I have the right to post whatever I want, and as I previously stated, I am not campaigning and will never campaign for anyone, but aunty tutu can post on my page.
