The married father presently enrolled in fifth grade studies with children of the same age as his grandchildren.

A 55-year-old man named as Rusengamihigo Jean Marie Vianney has returned to elementary school without shame. The married father presently enrolled in fifth grade studies with children of the same age as his grandchildren.

Vianney, who dropped out of school while he was in the sixth grade, told Afrimax that the government inspired him to return to school.

In his words:

“I began school but eventually dropped out. Later, the government encouraged more individuals to attend school.

And I am among those who returned to school after dropping out in sixth grade. When Vianney attended school many years ago, students were instructed in French, which has made it difficult for him to study in English. A clip provided by Afrimax showed the touching moment Vianney’s mother dressed him and said prayers before he departed for school.
