Foluke Daramola, a Nollywood actress, has resorted to social media to celebrate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the winner of the 2023 presidential election on Wednesday.
Foluke, who has been advocating for Tinubu, posted on her Instagram page, “Yeah we did it ooh.” ide omo olodo. Dey Akanbi.”
Tinubu defeated his closest rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), by over a million votes.
Abubakar received 6, 984, 520 votes, while Labour Party candidate Peter Obi received 6,111, 533 votes.
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPPRabiu )’s Kwankwaso received 1,496, 687 votes.
Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC Chairman who delivered the election results, stated that the total number of registered voters was 93, 469, 008, while the number of accredited voters was 25, 486, 616.
